The Pre-K students have had opportunities to build winter animal habitats in the Science and Block centers during our Winter Study.

Marshall had a great time attending the Parkside Junior High School Volleyball Diverse Ability night. Between games, fans were encouraged to try playing volleyball--no matter what their ability! Several types of working dogs were present as they help people do tasks and stay included in everyday life activities. Money was raised to help install a sensory wall for ALL students of ALL abilities!

Ridgeview Elementary School has been looking for an option for before/after school care for our students and families. We have found a potential solution through a program called Champions through KinderCare. Ridgeview would partner with Champions to provide before school, after school, and possibly summer care right here at the school. In order to establish this program here at Ridgeview Elementary school we need to have at least 20 students enrolled in the program.

Good Afternoon,
Due to the forecasted extreme cold for tomorrow, Ridgeview schools will implement an E-Learning Day tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21st. Teachers will reach out to students through our digital platforms to provide them with information on class expectations.
All before and after school practices are cancelled for the day.
A decision on evening activities for tomorrow night will be made by tomorrow afternoon.
Stay safe and warm and have a good evening!

1st grade is working on adding 10 and/or subtracting 10 from a number. Today we played 5 in a row (BINGO) to help us work on this concept.

Mrs. Beck's 5th grade class did an AMAZING job with their Volume Zoo projects! They learned how to calculate volume using length x width x height and applied it by finding the total volume of each animal creation. Not only did they master math, but they also got creative with wrapping their boxes and choosing the perfect details for their animals! The final result was a fun mix of learning and creativity!

Do you want to build a snowman? Pre-K used loose parts to create snowmen this week.

Students enjoyed a special hot chocolate treat today for helping support the food drive in December! Special thanks to the kitchen staff and supervisors who all pitched in to serve and prepare! Delicious!
